Fish Like a Girl!

On July 18th, 2026, a new tradition begins in Lorain. We are bringing together people from across Northern Ohio for a day of world-class Walleye fishing on the beautiful waters of Lake Erie. Whether you are a seasoned tournament pro or a first-time angler, join us as we fish for a cause and celebrate the strength of our community.

All registration proceeds and event donations benefit the critical work of Lorain County Safe Harbor (Genesis House) and the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.

The Tournament

World-class Competition  Compete for the heaviest five-fish and the prestige of the inaugural title. We are awarding trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, alongside a $1,000 Cash Prize for the Biggest Walleye (weight).

Fish Like a Girl!  This is a ladies-only reel-in event. While we welcome men to serve as Captains and First Mates, the glory on the deck belongs to the women. From setting the hook to landing the catch, this is your day to shine on the water.

Lake-to-Table Giving  Make your catch count twice. Participants have the option to donate their fish to the Church of the Redeemer in Lorain, where our volunteers will clean and prepare the harvest to feed local families in need.

Team & Registration Details

We have made it easy to get your crew together for a day on the lake.

• Registration Fee: $100 per boat (Includes up to 4 ladies and lunch for the team).

• The Team: 1 to 4 women per boat.

• The Crew: Maximum of 2 men per vessel (Captain and First Mate only).

• The Celebration: Entry includes access to our private weigh-in reception at the Lorain Harbor Boat Club, featuring music, raffles, and a catered luncheon.
